The "insert image" tool can lead to a hanging  IIS service when the server has Anti-Virus software installed.

The problem occurs when right.asp makes a .getFolder call on the the filesystem object. Anti-virus software may have script blocking enabled and thus prevents the call from working.

Indications of this problem:

• ActiveEdit for ASP
• IIS 5.0
• "insert image" right panal never loads and is empty.
• ASP pages fail to load until the service is restarted.
